BRAC Access Update


PROV records located at Bendigo will soon be able to be ordered through the general PROV catalogue (as has been the case for North Melbourne records since August 2021). Please note some changes to our services in the lead up to the launch:



> BRAC Reading Room closures on 18-19 May

> Current BRAC ordering & booking process in place until 12 May

> BRAC records available through new PROV catalogue from 25 May

> To order BRAC records, your PROV account must be updated to include an email address

*In preparation for the change, if you have not already done so, please ensure your account has a valid email address before the 27th of April, so that your order history is maintained in the new system.

If you have not updated your old catalogue account (which relied on a username and password), you will need to log in via the Old Log In link and add an email address to your account. Your last two years' of history will be maintained and after adding the email, you will log in via the PROV Log In using that address (your user ID is no longer needed). 

* The Bendigo Regional Archives Centre Reading Room will be closed on the 18th and 19th of May to allow for the system changeover

* Ordering of Bendigo records through the new system will not be possible until it is launched for Bendigo on the 25th May

From that date, you will be able to order Bendigo records through our new online system (as you might currently with North Melbourne records) making ordering and managing your records a whole lot easier! Normal opening hours and days will resume from Wednesday 25 May inclusive.
